Be a Champion 'On' and 'Off' the court!
The Be A Champion Basketball Camp, located in San Francisco, CA, teaches kids in 4th to 9th grade the fundamentals of basketball, as well as the mental aspects of becoming a champion athlete. Our philosophy challenges kids to put their whole effort and understanding into the details of basketball, the importance of acedemics, and how to have a successful way of life. Under the Be A Champion Foundation, we stress that kids be a champion of character and class "on" and "off" the court.
Our goal is to provide an affordable and accessible service to everyone in the San
Francisco community. Through scholarships and other monetary assistance, we hope to give all kids an equal opportunity to attend our basketball camps and related programs. Our goal is to create a player who is not only talented, but is also a student of the game. The Be A Champion Basketball Camp is designed to offer your child the individual attention he/she deserves to properly learn the techniques and skills toward becoming a better basketball player.
As Founder and Director of the Be A Champion Basketball Camp, Kareem Guilbeaux personally oversees all camp activities and utilizes a host of accomplished coaches and counselors who have been succesful in high school and college athletics. They all know first hand how important focus and determination are in achieving your goals and how it is critical to get an early start. In addition to physical basketball drills and games, participants are split into smaller groups and asked to document and analyze their progress in their Camp Notebook. This helps them to better understand how success is planned and how it is up to them to be a Champion in all that they do.
