Champions Fall Season 2012
We are proud to formally announce the first SF Champions Fall Session!
We are enthused with the prospect of continuing with two more months of Champions’ development and truly believe that we are providing an unmatched product in terms of our player’s development.
We will have a one-day tryout on Friday, September 7th, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm!
An additional highlight of our fall package is that we have paired with SI's Strength and Conditioning Coaches to create a “Champions/Junior Wildcat Readiness Program”. This program will span 8 weeks and be available to all of our athletes twice a week as part of our Champions Development Package. This joint venture is part of our Gold Standard Initiative, which is to create young student athletes of integrity, knowledge, loyalty, discipline, and to have the understanding of the effort that it takes to reaching one's goals.
The Champions/Junior Wildcat Readiness Program is an 8-week strength and conditioning course that is designed to supplement the training that our players receive on the court. Although becoming bigger, faster, and stronger is an obvious goal of strength and conditioning training, our number one priority is to teach our players how to better use their bodies for the game of basketball. A significant part of our players' development is to teach him to understand the nuances of the game through the training and subsequent mastery of basic and eventually advanced fundamentals. However, in order for one to reach their true potential, their body needs to be able to move in a way that is necessary for basketball skills to be properly displayed.
