age of 7, playing for the Fairfield Youth Sports Recreation League. He continued playing basketball at the school
of Epiphany in San Francisco. In 8th grade, he won the CYO Championship for basketball and soccer, and was selected selected to be in the CYO all-star game.
Coach Reynolds then went on to play basketball at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, where he was teammates with Coach Guilbeaux on a nationally ranked varsity basketball team that won back to back WCAL Championships.
After leaving high school Coach Reynolds played for the University of La Verne where his career shooting percentage was 55% and averaged 9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. After college, Coach Reynolds unexpectedly continued his basketball career in the ABA with the San Francisco Rumble. He was awarded with making the all-rookie team for the 2009-2010 season.
Coach Reynolds began coaching during his time in high school, working for the Saint Ignatius and Legarza basketball camps. He would later help Coach Guilbeaux and Coach Capla start the Be A Champion Basketball Camp, which grew into the SF Champions AAU program.
