Kareem Guilbeaux
Founder / Director
Coach Guilbeaux was raised in San Francisco and attended St. Stephen’s and St. Ignatius College Prep before attending San Jose State University where he graduated with honors in 2006. AT SJSU, he lettered in Basketball for four years, two as their team captain. Currently, Kareem works at St. Ignatius in Admissions and serves as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and Varsity Boys Volley Ball Coach.
Shortly after graduating from San Jose State, Kareem started the Be A Champion Basketball Camp in San Francisco. Hundreds of boys and girls attended the camp each summer; many of whom played for the SF Champions.
Throughout his youth, Kareem played for various CYO and Park and Rec championship teams in San Francisco. He realized early on that success relies as much on hard work as it does on talent. His accomplishments on the court were augmented by what he learned in the classroom and Kareem worked hard to maintain the necessary balance between his academics and his love of basketball.
Coach Guilbeaux is the epitome of the SF Champion Basketball spirit and, with his talent, he is truly a Champion 'ON' and 'OFF' the court!
